Groupsite.com Anti-Spam Policy

Spam is unsolicited bulk email, also known as junk mail or UCE (Unsolicited Commercial Email.) Groupsite.com prohibits the use of its services in any manner associated with, the transmission, distribution or delivery of Spam. You must not upload, post, host or transmit unsolicited email, SMSs or "Spam" messages. You also agree not to harvest any email addresses from the Groupsite.com platform for the purpose of sending email in violation of applicable law.

If you violate this policy, we may (without notice) take action as deemed appropriate in our sole discretion. This may include, but is not limited to, legal action against you and the termination, without notice, of your Groupsite.com account and/or anything associated with it, including Groupsite content, pages, profiles, etc.

If you know of or suspect any violators, please notify us immediately at support(at)groupsite.com.

Groupsite.com takes administrative and technical measures to help protect against spam within Groupsites. As a Groupsite.com User, you also have the ability to keep personal contact data private (not visible to other Groupsite members) to reduce the possibility of third party email harvesting and spam. However, Managers of any Groupsite you belong to will always have access to the email address(es) associated with your member profile. Because Groupsites are a group communication and networking tool, other Groupsite Members will also have the ability to send email messages to you by using standard Groupsite features, even when your email address is protected and not disclosed.

Groupsite.com encourages Users to select an email address where they will be comfortable receiving email messages from other group members, if the User chooses to become a member in any Groupsite at his/her sole discretion.

Spam Abuse Determination

Groupsite.com may determine at its sole discretion whether a customer is spamming. There are a number of factors Groupsite.com uses to determine whether a customer is spamming, including, but not limited to: complaints sent to support or abuse report addresses, email content, SpamCop reports, complaints sent to any of Groupsite.com's upstream providers and evaluating a customer's mass e-mail statistics and recipient addresses. Decisions made by Groupsite.com personnel regarding a customer's use of Groupsite.com are final.

Privacy and Spam

You agree to comply with

  1. all relevant aspects of the Groupsite.com Privacy Policy and all applicable laws with respect to any collection, use or disclosure of Personal Data (as defined in the Groupsite.com Privacy Policy). You also agree not to use any Personal Data disclosed to you by Groupsite.com for any purpose other than using the Groupsite.com platform or a Groupsite in accordance with these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
  2. all applicable laws with respect to email communications, including without limitation CAN-SPAM, applicable state laws, and applicable laws in non-U.S. jurisdictions.

If we provide you with Personal Data about other Groupsite users, you agree to (1) comply with applicable law and Groupsite.com's rules (including the Privacy Policy and anti-spam policy) with respect to such Personal Data and (2) to indemnify Groupsite.com for your use of such Personal Data. You also agree not to knowingly collect information from, or develop Groupsites that are targeted at, children under the age of 13.
